Ingredients for 3 to 6 servings
1 cup finely chopped lettuce
1 small tomato, finely chopped
1/2 cup alfafa sprouts
2 tbsp green onions
2 tbsp bottled Italian dressing
1 small avocado
1 pkg cream cheese, softened
2 to 3 drops hot pepper sauce
3 pita breads
6 slices Swiss or Jack cheese
6 slices boiled ham

Directions
1. Combine lettuce, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, green onions and salad dressing
Set aside
Mash avocado with cream cheese and pepper sauce
Cut pita breads in halves
Spread inside of each pocket with cream cheese
Line pockets with cheese and ham
Spoon lettuce mixture into each pocket
