Prepare strawberry balsamic slab pie
Recipe by• Six cups of hulled & sliced strawberries
• 3/4 to 1 1/4 cups sugar
• Three tbs corn starch
• Two tbs strawberry balsamic vinegar
• Fresh ground pepper
• Pie Crust
• Egg white + one tbs of cold water
Prep. Time → 10 min
Cook Time → 30 min
1. Preheat oven at about 350 degrees. And Place 4 cups of strawberries into the pan and mix all the other ingredients into it (i.e. corn starch, sugar and balsamic) and stir and heat until it boils. Once done, reduce the heat and make it cool until the liquid thickens. After that pour it in a bowl and cool it completely.
2. Once done, then make your basic pie crust. And then add 2 cups of fresh strawberries and grind one and stir it to combine. And then pour the filling of each pie crust and then fold up the sides. Then, make a mixture of egg and one tablespoon water and try to brush the edges. After that sprinkle with sugar and then finally place it on oven cook it for 30min and that is it. You are done!
3. That is it.
