Quiche of Amy Moore - Recipefy

2 cups Swiss cheese- shredded
Prepared pie crust 9 inch- deep dish is best (any variety: frozen or refrigerated rollout type)
3 eggs
1 and 1/2 cups half and half
1 Tbsp. flour
Dash of Nutmeg
1/8 tsp. Garlic powder
1/8 tsp. salt
Filling choices
8 slices of bacon
1/2 head of broccoli
2 cups spinach leaves
2 cups sliced mushroom
1-2 slices cooked ham

Prep. Time → 30 min

Cook Time → 40 min

1. Prepare crust by placing it in a 450 degree oven for about 10 minutes. Do not poke with a fork. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees.

2. In a large bowl whisk together eggs, half and half, flour, nutmeg, salt and garlic powder.

3. Prepare your choice of fillings:
Boil broccoli until tender, drain, and chop.
Sauté spinach and mushrooms in olive oil & garlic. Add red wine and reduce. Remove from heat and pat dry to remove excess water before placing in the quiche.
Prepare bacon, drain and crumble.
Cut cooked ham into small cubes.

4. Place the Swiss cheese in the prepared crust.

5. Place about a cup of filling into the crust and spread everything out along the bottom of the crust.

6. Pour egg mixture into crust over top all ingredients.

7. Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before slicing.
