Raw Banana Bajji/Vazhakkai Bajji of Kitchen Snippets - Recipefy

Raw banana-2
Besan/gram flour-1/4 cup
Rice flour-2 tblpsn
Baking soda-a pinch
Hing/kayam-1/8 tspn
Red chilli powder-1/2 tspn
Salt
Water-as needed

Prep. Time → 5 min

Cook Time → 10 min

1. In a bowl add all the ingredients,other than banana and water.Now add water little by little and make a thick batter.Keep aside.

2. Peel raw banana using a knife or peeler.Cut them into thin or medium thick slices.( don't make them too thick as they will
remain uncooked ).

3. Heat oil in a pan.Now dip the banana slices in the batter.Each banan slice should be coated with the batter on both sides
Put them into the oil carefully( 2-3 at a time ).Simmer the flame to lowest so that the banana inside gets cooked well.
Flip over and cook till both the sides become golden brown.Remove from fire and enjoy.
