For batter
Gram flour-1/2 cup
Semolina/rava-1/4 cup
Kashmiri chilli powder/paprika-1 tblspn
Hing/kayam-1/4 tspn
Baking Powder-1/4 tspn
Salt
1. Cut off the brown edges of the bread slices and keep aside.
2. Grind together dry red chilli and garlic to a coarse paste.
Take a bowl and mix together tomato sauce,red chilli paste and salt
3. Now take a bread slice and spread some sauce-chilli paste to it.Cover it with another slice.Repeat the same with all the slices.You will get three sandwiches.
4. Now take another bowl and mix together all the ingredients listed under "for batter".Pour enough water and make a thick batter.Add water carefully.Batter shouldn't be too watery.
5. Heat oil in a deep pan.Dip each of the sandwiches in the batter and deep fry them in the oil.Fry till both sides are golden brown.Remove from fire .
6. Cut into half in triangle shape and enjoy with tomato sauce.
