Satay dish
Recipe by2 c water
2 T brown sugar
2 T soy sauce
Juice from 1 lemon
4 t sambal oelek (chilli paste)
Fresh ginger (peeled & chopped)
Peanut butter
Prep. Time → 10 min
Cook Time → 15 min
1. Mix all ingredients except the peanut butter together in a bowl then add to already fried strips of meat. Add heaps of peanut butter and break up as it starts to heat through. Stir frequently. Add further chilli to get desired hotness. Add strips of capsicum as sauce starts to thicken. Cook for a further couple of minutes.
2. Keep adding water or peanut butter to thin or thicken sauce as desired.
3. Will serve 4 adults when added to around 800g meat and served with rice
