Scones of Bradford Tetlow - Recipefy

300g Self Raising Flour
30g Butter
Sprinkle of Caster Sugar
180mls Milk

Prep. Time → 5 min

Cook Time → 15 min

1. Preheat oven to 220C

2. Sieve flour into a large bowl

3. Rub butter into flour until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add caster sugar

4. Add milk and combine with hands until mix is soft but not sticky

5. Turn scone dough onto a lightly floured board and knead and pat into shape until smooth and about 3cm thick

6. Cut dough into rounds with scone cutter

7. Place scone rounds onto a pre-heated tray with sides just touching. Glaze tops with milk

8. Cook at 220C for 10 to 15 minutes
