Spicy shrimp with avocado salsa verde

1 small onion, quartered
1 clove garlic, smashed
8oz can diced tomatoes
1/2 avocado, peeled, seeded, and cut into chunks
1-1/4tsp salt
Spicy Shrimp
1Tbs olive oil
1tsp chili powder
1tsp salt
1lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 limes, cut into wedges
Prep. Time → 15 min
Cook Time → 4 min
1. Put onion and garlic in a food processor and finely chop
2. Add tomatoes, avocado, and salt and pulse until chopped but still chunky
3. Transfer to bowl and set aside
4. Heat stovetop or grill to medium-high
5. Mix olive oil, chili powder, and salt in a large bowl
6. Add shrimp and toss to coat
7. Cook shrimp until translucent, about 1-2 minutes per side, transfer to bowl
8. Serve shrimp with salsa on top or in a heated tortilla
