Stuffed mushrooms
Recipe by
45ml butter
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
12 slices bacon strips, thinly chopped
50g fresh peas
8 large mushrooms, cleaned
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
200g mozzarella, grated
45ml fresh thyme
60ml olive oil
Prep. Time → 20 min
Cook Time → 20 min
1. Preheat oven to 180C. Melt the butter in a pan and saute the garlic, do not brown.
2. Add bacon and cook until crispy.
3. Add peas and cook until done.
4. Place the mushrooms on a baking tray and season. Divide the bacon mixture between the mushrooms and sprinkle with the mozzarella, thyme and oil
5. Bake until the cheese has melted, about 20min. Serve while still hot.
