Taco salad of Amy Jessup - Recipefy

9 cups salad greens
3 large onions
1 clove garlic
1 lb ground beef
4 green peppers
taco seasoning
4 apples

1. Saute 2 onions.
Add the ground beef to the onions and immediately add taco seasoning. Make your own taco seasoning - check out the recipe below.
Add chopped up garlic when the meat is about halfway cooked.
Store the taco meat in a container.
While meat is cooking....
Dice the other onion, chop the peppers, and store both in a container.
Mix the greens and store in a container.

2. To consume, combine a portion of each container into a bowl.

3. Eat the apple for dessert. We're a few grams short on carbs, so you may top with whatever you like, salsa, avocado sauce, I'd probably go with Cable's baja sauce. That recipe is in the cookbook too. Don't get too crazy though. You may sub the salad greens for 1/2 cup per serving white rice if you like, but then don't eat the apple.

4. 1 tablespoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper

5. This is a 4 block meal, about right for an average sized active male.
