For marination
Turmeric powder-1/2 tspn
Red chilli powder-1 1/2 tspn
Coriander powder-1 tspn
Sambar powder-1/2 tspn
Tomato Sauce-2 tblspn
Salt
For masala
Onion-1 chopped
Garlic-5 chopped
Thick tamarind juice-2tspn
Coriander leaves-handful chopped
Salt
Oil
1. Marinate the prawns with ingredients listed under 'for marination' and keep aside for 30 mints.
2. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions and garlic.Saute till the onions turn transparent.Then add marinated prawns and tamarind juice.Mix well,add enough salt and coriander leaves.Cover and cook in low flame for about 5-7 mints.
Serve hot with tomato rice or any main dish of your choice.
