Maris Piper Potatoes

Prep. Time → 10 min

Cook Time → 50 min

1. Get a few Maris Piper Potatoes.

2. Don't peel them, the skins have the most potato flavour in them.

3. Cut them into chip shapes and put them into a pan of simmering water for 10 minutes or untill they become soft, the chips will start to break apart and this will let the oil in when you fry them.

4. Drain them and let them cool then put the chips into a pre-heated deep fryer for 5 minutes or untill they are golden brown.

5. Take them out, Drain them and put them in the fridge to cool down to room temperature.

6. Put them back into the deep fryer for another 5 minutes or untill they are light brown, because the oil has been able to get inside the chip they will be soft in the middle and crispy on the outside, drain them, put them on a plate and enjoy.
