- Fry Light
- 454gm (1lb) lean minced turkey**
- 1 onion, chopped
- 400gm can chopped tomatoes with garlic
- 1tbsp dried Italian mixed herbs
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 38gm sachet Morrisons instant cheese sauce mix (5 Syns)
- 6 x 18gm wholemeal lasagne sheets
- 85gm (3 oz) reduced fat Cheddar, grated**
- 1tbsp grated parmesan (1½ Syns)
1. Method
1. Preheat oven to 180C / 350F / Gas Mark 4.
2. Heat a saucepan sprayed with Fry Light and fry the turkey for 8-10 minutes or until brown. Add the chopped onion and fry for a further 5 minutes.
3. Add the tomatoes, herbs and black pepper and cook until the juice from the tomatoes is reduced.
4. Meanwhile, make up the cheese sauce as per pack instructions and stir in half of the grated Cheddar.
5. Spoon half of the turkey mixture into an oblong ovenproof dish and cover with half the lasagne sheets (you may need to trim the sheets to fit the dish). Spoon over the remaining turkey mixture and cover this with the remaining lasagne sheets.
6. Pour the cheese sauce over the top of the lasagne and level off. Sprinkle with the remaining Cheddar and parmesan. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes.
