Vanilla cup cakes with buttercream icing

All Purpose Flour-1 cup+ 4 tblspn
Baking Powder-1/2 tspn
Butter-1/2 cup+ tblpsn
Powdered Sugar-1 cup+ 3 tblspn
Eggs-3
Vanilla-1/2 tspn
Salt
Warm Milk-1/3 cup
For buttercream icing
Solid vegetable shortening -1/2 cup
Butter or margarine softened-1/2 cup
Vanilla essence-1 tspn list clear vanilla extract
Confectioners' sugar/Icing sugar-4 cups
Milk-2 tblpsn
Prep. Time → 10 min
Cook Time → 20 min
1. Make vanilla cupcakes
2. 1.Sieve flour,baking powder and salt together three times.Keep aside.1
3. 2.Cream butter and salt well.Keep aside
4. 3.Add vanilla to eggs and beat well using an egg beater till they sre fluffy.
Add beated eggs little by little to the creamed butter and sugar mix and keep on beating(using beater) in
low speed.
5. 4.Fold in flour also, alternately with warm milk.
6. 5.Pour the mixture in the cupcake moulds and bake at 180 degree C/ 350 degree F. for about 15 mintutes.
6.Decorate with buttercream icing once the cakes cool down to room temp .
7. How to make buttercream icing
8. In a bowl,add vegetable shortening and butter .Beat till they are soft and fluffy.Add in vanilla also.
Gradually add sugar, one cup at a time, beating well on medium speed. Scrape sides and bottom of bowl often. Gradually add milk and mix well.This butter cream icicng will have medium consistency.You can add few drops of your favourite colour ,mix well and decorate your cupcakes.
