White chocolate cherry bark

2 tbsp sliced almonds
1/3 cup dried cherries, chopped
1 oz small salted pretzel sticks broken into 1/4 inch pieces (about 2/3 cups)
1 (12 oz) package premium white chocolate chips

Prep. Time → 10 min

Cook Time → 5 min

1. Place almonds in skillet over medium heat. Cook 2 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring frequently. Remove from heat. Combine almonds, cherries, and pretzels in a bowl, divided in half.

2. Place chocolate in 1 qt glass bowl. Microwave on high 1 1/2 minutes or until chocolate melts, stirring every 30 seconds. Add chocolate to bowl with 1/2 the pretzel mixture. Stir well.

3. Spread chocolate mixture evenly into a 12x7 inch rectangle on a jelly role sheet lined with parchment. Sprinkle remaining pretzel mixture evenly over chocolate, pressing lightly to adhere. Freeze 10 minutes. Break into 16 pieces.

4. *The chocolate can also be melted over the stove using a double boiler.*
**A less healthy variation, White Trash, melt the chocolate as directed and mix in different candies, cereal, nuts, etc.**
