Xmas Toffee of Michele Poole - Recipefy

1lb butter
4 cups white sugar
10 oz can of sweetened condensed milk (300 ml)
16 oz bottle Golden corn syrup (500 ml)

1. Mix all ingredients in large saucepan. gradually bring to boil. Cook 20-30 min. Stirring constantly, to soft ball stage. (use a candy thermometer). Pour onto 2 well- buttered cookie sheets. When set, cut into small pieces and wrap in waxed paper - twisting both ends closed. Makes 20 dozen.
