Yankee pancakes

1 cup flour
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups oatmeal
2 eggs
2 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup oil

Prep. Time → 10 min

Cook Time → 3-4 min

1. Blend together the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. In a smaller bowl, beat eggs, adding buttermilk and oil. Add milk mixture to dry ingredients, mixing together. Pour onto a heated griddle. Use approximately 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. This batter is slightly thick and may take longer to cook than ordinary pancakes. Serve immediately with warm Orange Syrup
