Banana Loaf de Rhoda Rutherford - Recipefy

75g margarine
170g sugar
2 eggs
5ml vanilla essence
200ml mashed banana
280g self-raising flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch of salt

optional extras
tablespoon custard powder
2 ground cardamom pods
tablespoon molases

T. Preparacion → 15 min

T. Cocinado → 50 min

1. Preheat oven to 180 C. Grease a loaf tin.

2. Cream marg and sugar till light and fluffy, add eggs one a time beat well.

3. Add vanilla and mashed banana (and molasses, it add a richness to the flavour but its still yummy if u dont have any)

4. Sift flour salt and cinnamon, if u adding custard powder and other spices do so now. Add the dry to the wet, blend well.

5. Pour into prepared tin, bake for 50-60 mins

6. Serve with butter melting over the edged and a cup of hot tea.
