Cheesecake de Gali Dachot - Recipefy

1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons of sugar
3 tablespoons of melted butter or margarine

19 ounces of softened cream cheese (3packages)
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons lemon peel
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
9" spring form pan

for the glaze
1 cup mashed fruit
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/3 cup water

T. Preparacion → 15 min

T. Cocinado → 60 min

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F

2. Mix the graham cracker crumbs and the sugar together. Add the melted butter and mix until the crumbs are all coated well.

3. Spread the crumbs into your spring form pan evenly. Make sure you cover the bottom and the sides. (the crumbs will be loose)

4. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes so crusts get a bit brown.

5. Remove from oven and let cool on side.

6. Dump the cream cheese into a mixing bowl and beat until it gets smooth.

7. Gradually add the sugar as you beat the cream cheese.

8. Add the lemon peel and vanilla, Then beat in 1 egg at a time.

9. The filling is done. Pour the mixture onto the crumbs and bake for an hour at 350 degrees F.

10. If you want your cake to have a glassy smooth top then you need to bake your cake in a water bath. Place an inch of water in a large pan and then rest your cake pan in the water bath.

11. You know when the cake will be done when you see the top starting to get brown.

12. For the glaze: Just mix everything in a saucepan and heat up until it starts to boil. For over cake and decorate.
