Chocolate fig, and inca berry slice
Receta porFruit Layer
150g Fruit for Life Dried Figs
1/3 Cup (40g) Dried Inca Berries
1/3 Cup of Water
4 tsp Norbu
Chocolate Layer
2 Tbsp (24g) 100% Cocoa Powder
1 Tbsp (14g) Melted Coconut Oil
1. Soak the figs and inca berries in a bowl of water for 2-3 hours, until soft
Roughly chop and add to a saucepan with the water and Norbu
Bring to a boil and then simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring constantly
Once the mixture is nice and thick, remove from the heat and allow to cool
Add to a blender and pulse until relatively smooth
Transfer to a silicone mould and create an even layer
Place in the freezer for 15 minutes to firm up
Take the chocolate ingredients, mix together and pour on top of the fruit layer
Return the slice to the freezer for 5 minutes for the chocolate to set
Carefully remove from the silicone mould and slice into even pieces
For best results, store in the fridge or freezer
