Creamy white chili

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-size pieces
1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cans (15 1/2 oz each) navy or great northern beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (14 1/2 oz) chicken broth
1-2 cans (4 oz each) chopped green chilies Like it hot? Feel free to add more!
1 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 cup whipping cream
1 med onion, chopped small
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 cup (8 oz) sour cream

T. Preparacion → 10 min

T. Cocinado → 40 min

1. Saute chicken, onion and garlic powder in oil until no longer pink.

2. Transfer ingredients from frying/saute/sauce pan to cooking pot.

3. Add beans, broth, chilies, and seasonings.

4. Bring to a boil.

5. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.

6. Remove from heat.

7. Stir in sour cream and whipping cream.
