4 Tbsp golden syrup.
350g (12oz) Whole jumbo porridge oats.
50g (2oz) Corn Flakes. Optional, or add what you like (Nuts, chocolate pieces or dried fruit Ect.)

T. Preparacion → 15 min

T. Cocinado → 25 min

1. Preheat the oven to 180, gas mark 4.

2. In a saucepan gently melt the butter, sugar and the golden syrup over a low heat, stirring with a wooden spoon until the sugar has dissolved.

3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and gently stir in the oats and the cornflakes with the wooden spoon, until the mixture is thoroughly combined and sticky.

4. Tip the mixture into a 28cm X 18cm tin or any other similar tin, spread it into the corners. Gently press down with the back of the spoon to make the top flat and even. No need to grease the tin it won't stick.

5. Bake the mixture for 25 minutes, or until golden brown and firm. Allow to cool for ten minutes then cut them into bars. Leave too cool compleatly before taking them out, they might break if you take them out too early.

6. And then dig in there yummy Iv made so many.

You may have kept them in for a little to long as they recommend that they are firm, but every time I checked they were still quite gooey. So I'd suggest that sticking to the time even if there not completely firm, another tip avoide opening an oven during the first half of cooking, even though it's very tempting :)
