Molly's chocolate chip spice cake
Receta porFor the cake
150g Self Raising Flour,
100g soft brown sugar,
2 eggs,
25g choc chips,
50g chopped nuts,
1 teaspoon mixed spice.
150g butter or margarine.
For the icing
150g icing sugar,
water.
and decoration!
T. Preparacion → 15 min
T. Cocinado → 15- 20 min
1. Light oven Reg 5 (180).
2. Line and grease tin (small swiss roll tin)
3. Put flour, chopped nuts, choc chips, sugar and spice in a mixing bowl.
4. Beat eggs in a separate bowl.
5. Melt butter/margarine in saucepan on the hob (do not leave)
6. Stir into flour (etc) and beat in egg.
7. Pour mixture into tin.
8. Cook for approx 15 - 20 mins.
9. Turn out onto cooling rack.
10. Make icing: pour water ,little bits at a time and keep mixing it until you get the consistency of single cream.
11. pour over cool cake.
12. Decorate.
13. ....AND ENJOY!!! mmm mmm!
