Pesarattu/green gram dosa

Green gram/cherupayar-1 cup
Raw rice(idli rice)/pachari-1/4 cup
Dry red chilli-2
Green chilli-1
Cumin seeds-1/2 tspn
Hing/kayam-a pinch
Salt
For filling
Ginger-1 small piece chopped
Dry red chilli-3 chopped
Onion-1 small chopped
Coriander leaves/curry leaves
Tamarind-1 small ball
Grated coconut-1/4 cup
Cashewnuts-10
Salt
T. Cocinado → 10 min
1. Soak green gram in water for 8 hrs.Soak rice for 1 hour before making the dosas.
2. Then grind green gram and rice along with all the other ingrediets listed under "for batter" to a smooth batter.
It should have the same consistency of normal dosa batter.Keep aside.
3. Heat a tawa or flat pan.Pour a laddle full of batter and spread it as we do for normal dosa.Drizzle little oil around the dosa.
Flip over when one side have some light brown shades.Cook for few more seconds.Transfer to a plate.Make dosas with remaining batter also.
4. Then to make filling.Add the ingredients to a blender.Just give a single crush.Filling is ready.
5. Now spread this filling in the green gram dosa and serve hot.
