Saucy chocolate pudding
Receta por250ml cake flour
10ml baking powder
2ml salt
200ml caster sugar
75ml cocoa powder
2ml ground cloves
30ml butter, melted
125ml milk
5ml vanilla essence
50g chopped nuts
200ml soft brown sugar
180ml hot water
ice cream or custard to serve

T. Cocinado → 30-40 min
1. Preheat oven to 180degrees Celsius and lightly grease 6 small molds or one 25x15x5cm ovenproof dish
2. Sift flour, baking powder, salt, caster sugar, 60ml cocoa powder and ground cloves together in a medium mixing bowl
3. Add the melted butter, milk, vanilla essence and nuts and mix well.
4. Turn the batter into the prepared molds until half filled or into the large dish
5. Mix the soft brown sugar with the remaining cocoa powder until combined. Scatter the sugar mixture evenly over the pudding. Pore the water evenly over the pudding and put the molds or dish in a roasting pan. Fill the roasting pan halfway with hot water and place in preheated oven
6. Bake for 30 to 40min or until done. Remove from the oven. If making a large pudding, cut into squares. Serve hot, topped with a small scoop of ice cream or custard.
