Smoked ham and apple chicken rolls
Receta por2 chicken breasts
4 pieces of finely slice smoked ham
2 garlic cloves, chopped
2 apples, cubed
1 onion, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Tawny Porto Wine
Olive Oil
T. Preparacion → 15 min
T. Cocinado → 20 min
1. Fry the apples, onions, and garlic in olive oil
2. Add Porto wine, salt and pepper
3. Bring a large pot of water to boil
4. Butterfly the chicken breasts open and flatten with a kitchen hammer
5. Place each of the chicken breasts on cling wrap and fill with some of the apple mixture
6. Wrap the breast and tie a knot at each end
7. Cook in boiling water for approximately 15 minutes
8. Remove from cling wrap adn wrap the chicken in smoked ham
9. Lightly saute in olive oil in a medium frying pan
10. Reduce the reaming apple mixture and serve over the chicken
11. Suggested pairing over brown rice
