Sup tulang merah (power!)
Receta porIngredient (a)
2 red onions
3 cloves garlic
1 thumbsized ginger
10 pcs soaked dried chilli (de-seed)
Ingredients (b)
1 thumbsized ginger sliced
3 star anis & cloves mix
1 cinnimon stick
2kg mutton -prefably ribs or knuckles
2 litres water
Ingredients (s)
3 star anis & cloves mix
1 packet beef stik mix
1 cinnimon stick
3 tsp red coloring
2 eggs
Salt
Sugar
Cooking oil (1cup)
Msg (optional)
Garnishes - coriander leaves / cabbage slices / peas (optional)
T. Preparacion → 15 min
T. Cocinado → 120 min
1. Put all ingredient (a) in blender and grind till paste.
2. Place all ingredients (b) into a pot and bring it to a boil for 1/2hr on medium heat.
3. In another pot, stir fry ingredient (a) then add in cinnimon, star anise mix, beef stik mix. Cook on low heat till oil rises to top.
4. Remove the boiled products - ingredient(b) from heat. Strain the mutton pieces and set aside
5. Place the mutton pieces into (3.), add 3 cups water and cook for another 45 mins under low heat.
6. Add in red food coloring, salt, sugar, msg and cornflour (3 tbsp into 1 part water).
7. Crack 2 eggs into the pot. Wait for 1 min and stir.
8. Garnish as you like and serve hot with baguette / rice.
