The best chili you will ever taste

2 onions, chopped
6 cloves garlic, minced (~6 Teaspoons)
2 lb lean ground beef
1 lb beef sirloin, cubed
1/2 lb beef tips cubed
1 (14 1/2 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
1 can dark beer (Guiness)
1 tablespoon decaf instant coffee powder (strong coffee) or packet of instant coffee
2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
1 can beef broth
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon cumin (added: and 1 tsp cinnamon)
1 tablespoon cocoa
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon cayenne
1 teaspoon coriander
1 teaspoon salt
2 (15 ounce) cans kidney beans
4 chili peppers, chopped
3 fresh Jalapeno peppers

1. Heat oil.
2. Cook onions, garlic and meat until brown.
3. Transfer contents to a slow cooker.
4. Add tomatoes, beer, coffee, tomato paste and beef broth.
5. Add spices Stir in 2 cans of kidney beans and peppers.
6. Reduce heat and simmer for a minimum of 1 1/2 hours. For maximum flavor, cook the contents for 2 hours on high heat, and 3 additional hours or more on low heat. Stir the contents occasionally to mix the flavors throughout.
7. Serve with in a bowl with dollop of sour cream and dress the chili with shredded cheddar cheese and chives. Corn bread will make a great addition to the chili.
