Bacon and blended vegetable soup
Ricetta diBacon Lardons (A Generous handful) or bacon offcuts
Onion
Carrots & Parsnips (1 of each per person)
Lentils
Tarragon
Ground black Pepper
Salt
Preparazione → 20 min
Cottura → 20 min
1. Cut bacon into small pieces
2. Fry bacon in a pan until cooked
3. Peel and chop Carrots and parsnips
4. Wash lentils in a sieve under cold water
5. Put lentils in a pan
6. Add water and stock cubes to the pan with lentils in to make a stock
7. Add carrots, parsnips and tarragon to stock
8. Add a touch of pepper and salt
9. Peel and chop onion
10. Add onion to the pot
11. Stir the pot and keep the gas on low
12. Blend up all of the soup
13. Add in the bacon
14. Stir up the soup again
15. Serve with a sprinkle of herb and bread of your choice
