Candied bacon
Ricetta di*uporabila sem sicer navadno slanino in ne prekajene. Naslednjič bom kar prekajeno!
Navadna
100g breakfast bacon, sliced
50g brown sugar
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper or smoked paprika
1/4 tsp ginger powder
Javorjev sirup
500 g good quality bacon, sliced
2 tbsp. pure maple syrup
¼ c. brown sugar
2 tsp. Dijon mustard
½ tsp. Kosher salt
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
Pivo
500 g thick-sliced bacon
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup beer
1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180/200 C. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and set a rack on top (like a cookie cooling rack). Spray the rack with nonstick spray (lahko tudi brez rešetke oz na silikonu).
2. 2. Mix everything together in a bowl. Dip bacon slices in, coating both sides, and place the coated bacon strips on the rack. I like to poke the bacon into the grooves of the rack in a few places so your bacon will come out looking a little wavy.
3. 3. Bake 15 to 20 minutes, or until the bacon appears to be caramelized and somewhat crispy. Watch closely after 15 minutes since the sugar can begin to burn when left in too long. Serve immediately.
