6 to 8 chicken legs, thighs, or breasts
3 T butter or margarine
1 lg onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 t salt
2 t paprika
1/2 t ginger
1/2 t. chile powder
16 oz. whole tomatoes
4 oz. slicked mushrooms

1. Rinse chicken and pat dry.

2. In skillet, melt butter and brown chicken quickly on both sides.

3. Place chicken in crock pot.

4. Stir together remaining ingredients and pour over chicken.

5. Cover and cook on low setting 8-10 hours (high 4-5 hours)
