Dal Puri di Kitchen Snippets - Recipefy

Wheat flour-1 cup
Urad dal-1/2 cup
Small onion-5
Green chilli-1
Hing/Kayam-a pinch
Cumin seeds-1/4 tspn
Salt
Oil for frying

Preparazione → 40 min

Cottura → 10 min

1. Soak urad dal in water for 30 mints.Then put this to a blender/grinder along with green chilli and small onion.
Coarsely grind it without adding water.

2. Now put this coarse paste to a bowl.Add wheat flour,cumin seeds,hing and salt.Knead and make a soft dough by adding enough water.
Add water little by little only while kneading the dough.It shouldn't be sticky.

3. Keep the dough covered for 10 mints.

4. After 10 mints,make small balls out of the dough.Roll each them into thin pooris.

5. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the pooris till they are brown and crispy.
