Lamb tails (skaapstertjies)
Ricetta di
4 lamb or muttor tails per person
generous springs of fresh rosemary and thyme
4 garlic cloves
water, to cover
finely grated zest of 1 lemon
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Preparazione → 10 min
Cottura → 120 min
1. Place tails, herbs, garlic and water in a pot
2. bring water to boil and then reduce temperature to a simmer and cook for 2 hours
3. remove tails, discard water, garlic and herbs
4. roast tails in oven proof dish in hot oven till golden brown (about 10min)
5. season to taste and sprinkle with zest.
