200g ground beef
1 consommé cube (or 300ml stock)
2 tbsp sake
1 tbsp Soy sauce
Minced garlic
Vegetable oil
Sesame oil
Potato starch
Salt & Pepper
Sliced green onion
Preparazione → 5 min
Cottura → 15 min
1. Place the bean thread in a deep bowl. Pour hot water and let it sit a few min. (the bean threads will absorb the water and blow up.)
2. In a frying pan, heat the vegetable oil, add the garlic (optional) and beef. Cook on medium heat until the beef turns lightly gold. Drain the excessive oil. Season the beef with S&P. Add the consommé cube with 300ml water (or stock). Cook for a few min until the consommé is completely dissolved.
3. Drain the bean thread and transfer to the frying pan with beef and the soup. Add the sake and soy sauce. Turn the heat up to high and cook for 1-2 min.
4. Turn off the heat and add 2 tbsp potato starch dissolved in 4 tbsp water. Stir well and turn the heat back on, to high. Cook for another 1-2 min.
5. To finish up, drizzle some sesame oil and garnish with the green pepper.
