Nepalese dinner
Ricetta diFor the vegetable tikka masala
one small cup cauliflower florets
one cubed and peeled carrot
one chopped red onion
half cup corn
half cup sweet peas
OAT LY vegan cream
pinch of salt
tikka masala seasoning
For the vegan naan bread
1 tsp active dry yeast (1/2 package)
1/2 cup warm water
1 Tbsp sugar
3 Tbsp vegan milk
1 tsp salt
1 3/4-2 cups bread flour
a bit of oil for cooking
additional olive oil to brush the top of the naan
For the rice
3 cups water
one cup basmati rice
pinch of salt
Preparazione → 120 min
Cottura → 15 min
1. 1.Dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 10 minutes
2.Add the sugar,vegan milk,salt and mix it
3.Add the flour and knead the composition for 6-7 minutes until you obtain a soft dough;set it in a bowl and let it rise for an hour
4.Portion the dough into golf ball size chunks and roll them in oil
5.Add the dough balls onto a baking shit,cover them with a wet towel and let them sit for 30 minutes
6.Add the vegetables to the skilled and steam them for about 5 minutes
7.Start cooking the rice on low temperature until the water is soaked up
8.Add the seasoning to the vegetables,stir and turn the temperature on low
9.Add the vegan cream to the skillet and let it cook for 10 minutes for the flavors to be evenly mixed
10.Roll the dough chunks into thin circles and grill them for 2 minutes on each side
11.Lightly brush your fresh Naan breads with oil
12.Plate and enjoy the Nepalese fest :)
