Pie crust (my recipe)
Ricetta di1 1/3 cup flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup Crisco shortening 3 to 4 Tbsp. ice cold water
1. Mix flour and salt. With two knives or pastry blender cut in the shortening. Gradually stir in cold water with a fork, just tossing until barely blended. Shape into ball. Roll out between two pieces of wax paper. Turning the paper to make sure there are no wrinkles. Peel one piece of paper and put back on dough, turn over and remove the other piece. Center on pie plate and remove other loosened wax paper. Pinch edges like you want. If you are going to bake without filling, prick sides and bottom with a fork. * Be careful not over work your dough because it will make it tough.
