Salsa Supreme di Michele Poole - Recipefy

16 cups peeled seeded, chopped ripe tomatoes
2 1/2 cups chopped celery
2/12 cups chopped onions
1/4 cup pickling salt
1 cup vinegar
1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
2 Green Peppers chopped
1 yellow/orange pepper chopped
8 cloves of garlic chopped
1 red pepper chopped
2 or more jalapeno pepper chopped (to taste)
2 5oz tins of tomatoe paste
T tbsp sugar

Preparazione → 90 min

Cottura → 90 min

1. Sprinkle salt over 1st 3 ingredients and let set overnight. In the morning drain well. Place in large heavy saucepan and add vinegar and cayenne. Cook 45 Min and add green pepper,Yellow/orange pepper, garlic, red pepper, and jalapeño . Cook 20 min and add tomatoe paste and sugar. Cook 10 min. Pour into sterilized jars and seal. Process 15 min for pints
